18 years. That's how long his people have suffered under the hand of a gluttonous tyrant. They've deserved it, sure, but now--finally--God gives him permission to put the bullying to an end.

We all know that it's hard to sacrifice. In fact, given it's difficulty, we may reject sacrifice altogether at times. Truth is, we always give something up. For example, you may choose not to sacrifice your comfort for the greater good but make no mistake in choosing comfort, you will sacrifice that greater good. We come to know this reality all too well through the story of a willfully blind king, a man unwilling to change and who's failure brings his world crashing down around him.
