SERIES:

THE STRUGGLE IS REAL

How many of us know the life of the struggle? Throughout our life, we move in and out of the wilderness through a rollercoaster of struggles. You might be dealing with addiction, marriage problems, COVID, cancer, deception, hate, the loss of a child, an ice storm and so many other things. You might be wondering a few things: What is wrong with God? What is wrong with humanity? How do I push through? This is the series for you!

In particular, as we struggle, we find ourselves wrestling in so many ways. We wrestle to get away from God, we wrestle with God, we wrestle with one another to push our way to the top & hopefully, we end up wrestling for the sake of reconciliation. Journey with us as we inhabit the struggle!

PART 1: WRESTLING WITH GOD

This week we will take a look at what it means to be a people destined for wrestling. God wants so much more for us. God longs for us to engage in the struggle with him!

PART 3: WRESTLING AS A CHURCH

This week, Matt closed out our sermon series which focused on struggling and wrestling as a part of our Christian identity. Even more we focused on asking these questions: Who will we be as a church? Who will you be as a person? Will we be a people of apathy or a people of engagement? Will we be a people of the flab and atrophy that accompany unexercised relationships? Or, will we be a people who wrestle?

Text: Genesis 33:1-4, Hebrews 12:12-14

4/11/21 Speaker: Matt DeLano
