If you're like most people, new to church or experienced, reading the Bible can be, well, complicated. People say it's important to do, but doing it brings up so many questions.

What is it, exactly?
What’s the deal with all the different parts?
Why does it matter whether or not we read it?
Isn’t it old and out of touch?
What do I do if I can’t understand it?
It seems boring. Am I reading it wrong?

These are all legitimate questions. Join us for this series as we seek out some helpful answers.

PART 1: TASTE AND SEE

The Bible is an amazing landscape of stories, commands, worship, history, promises, warnings, love letters—the list goes on, and it’s all there for us to experience. In this message, we’ll sample just a bit of what awaits us in the pages of God’s Word.

2/24/19  Speaker: Justin Gerhardt

PART 2: WHAT YOU’RE READING

So when you pick up a Bible, what exactly are you holding? Are all of the 'books' of the Bible the same as one another? If not, how are they different? Is there some over-arching story? If so, what is it?

In this message, we'll explore those questions and more.
