In any relationship, there's a need for mutual empathy--each person needs to seek to understand the other. In light of that, we’d do well to consider what it feels like to be God. In this series we’ll do just that. 

In the end, we’ll learn that everything God feels toward us traces back to one fundamental reality: he loves us.

Many of us have wondered, “Where is God when I hurt?” Does God see our pain, or is he spending an eternity of isolation in some divine tower somewhere? In the wake of Lazarus’s death, Jesus does something that shows us the answer to these questions.
