SERMON SERIES: HOW WE LIVE LOVE
Every church has a culture—the way things are there. What they value, what they prioritize, who they are at their deepest level. As Round Rock Church of Christ, we want to continually create our culture on purpose. So for the past year, our ministers and elders have been identifying, developing, and refining a list: we call it our 7 Core Behaviors. These are the things we do on purpose around here.
Our mission as a church is to live love: to strive for the love of God to define every moment of our lives. This list—these 7 behaviors—this is how we live love.
Consider this a family meeting of sorts. It's a look at our goals and ambitions as a church—who we are by the grace of God and who we want to continue to become.
PART 1: BE A REASON FOR SOMEONE TO COME HOME
None of us can save someone else. But every one of us can be a reason for someone to return to their Heavenly Father.
This is the first of our church's Core Behaviors: Be a reason for someone to come home. In this message, we'll explore what that looks like and why it's not always easy, but it is always good.

PART 2: BE CHANGED (AND CHANGING)
You can't follow Jesus without going somewhere. Isn't that what happens when you follow someone?
This is the second of our church's Core Behaviors: Be Changed (and Changing). In this message we'll explore the transformation found in Christ, how transformation is a process of changes, and how everyone has a next step.

PART 3: BE BRAVE
Are you really going to do the hard and scary things God's calling you to? That depends, are you brave?
This is the third of our church's Core Behaviors: Be Brave. In this message we'll take a look at how bravery is not an enigmatic feeling; it's a logical equation.
Text: 1 Chronicles 28:20
10/14/18 Speaker: Justin Gerhardt
PART 4: BE TOGETHER
Being God's child means being gathered together with all God's children. Here at RRCOC we want to Be Together on purpose. We want to be committed to the Sunday gathering, committed to unity of Spirit even as we disagree, and committed to long term devotion to tending our relationships and showing up for one another.
Text: Hebrews 10:23-25

PART 5: BE OPEN-HANDED
Every single blessing is a gift. A lavish grace. Something we are not owed and refuse to require.
This is the fifth of our church's Core Behaviors: Be Open-Handed. In this message we'll explore how God blesses us abundantly and how He requires us to live open-handedly.
Text: 2 Corinthians 9:6-9
11/4/18 Speaker: Justin Gerhardt
PART 6: BE GENUINE
We all have reasons to pretend. But Christ welcomes us into a kingdom where we don't have to—we can be both fully known AND fully loved. So we should be genuine.
Text: 2 Corinthians 1:8-12

PART 7: ALWAYS BE CELEBRATING
It's easy to celebrate when everything's going well, but what about when things are hard? Let's talk about what we stand to gain as we decide whether or not we'll be the Feast People God wants us to be.
