SERMON SERIES: HOLD FAST
Remember how easy it was to make friends as a kid? Don’t you wish making and having friends as an adult was more like that? ...Unfortunately, it’s not.
So what can we do? How should we go about cultivating healthy friendships that bless us and stand the test of time?
In this series we'll look to three example of friendship in Scripture for answers, insights, and a path forward.
PART 1: WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR
Ever heard of Onesiphorus? Probably not, but he's one friend everyone should know about. ...And emulate.

PART 2: FOLLOWER OR FRIEND
Thanks, Instagram. Social media trains us to measure our relational life by how many friends or followers we have. But Jesus never measured his friendships this way--he had 12 close friends and was mostly concerned with one test of their friendship: would they bail when things got tough?
Text: John 15:1-15
8/13/17 Speaker: Zane Witcher
PART 3: ALL UP IN YOUR FACE
What do you do when someone behaves in a way that's not consistent with their identity as a follower of Jesus? That depends on whether you want to be their friend or not. It's time to confront an aspect of friendship most of us ignore.
Text: Matthew 16:21-28
