Brief History of Croatia
-
1918 - Croats, Serbs, and Slovenes form a kingdom known after 1929 as Yugoslavia.

1945 - Yugoslavia becomes a federal independent Communist state under Marshal Tito.

1991 - Croatia declares its independence from Yugoslavia after the fall of the Iron Curtain.
-
2006 - Croatia currently seeking membership in the European Union.
Brief History of the Church
-
1960's - David Gatewood and Bud Pickle establish church in Zagreb.
-
1970's - Mladen Jovanovic is baptized.
-
1980's - The church transitions from house church to church building on Amruseva St.

1990's - The church moves to current location on Kuslanova St. A group continues to meet at Amruseva St.
Our Support of the Sibleys
-
1999 - Round Rock Church of Christ forms partnership with Tom & Sandra Sibley.

2000 - Sibleys join Kuslavona church and begin Institute for Biblical Studies.

2005 - The Institute applies for government certification as an independant school.

2006 - The Institute graduates four students. Seven students begin work on Master's Degrees in Christian Ministry under the supervision of Abilene Christian University.

2007 - The Institute begins a new partnership with a seminary in Osijek, Croatia. Vlado Psenko expands his radio ministry into Zagreb.
