Our dream is to see a congregation of members who have the heart of Jesus for people. Our mission is to educate, equip and empower our members so that they can establish friendships with others, meet their needs, share the good news with them and connect them with the community of believers. In order to make this dream come true we conduct classes that will result in ministries and events that will reach our community.

Outreach Ministries

Karate

The Karate ministry (Tae Kwon Do) is directed by Thierry Rene, 3rd degree Black Belt. Thierry offers one hour Karate Classes for children and youth and Fitness Classes for adults on Fridays and Saturdays. Connections

The purpose of the ministry is to help people in "life transitions" to find common ground by sharing their life experience with each other and to discover uncommon strength by deepening their relationship with Christ. The group meets for Bible Class on Sundays at 9:30 AM in Portable A.

Caregivers

The Faith in Action Caregivers Round Rock is a ministry to homebound seniors (60+) in Round Rock. The mission of the Caregivers is to help seniors to remain at home as long as they can. Services include transportation, minor household repairs, telephone calls, home visits and other services.

The Caregivers is supported by a team of churches and agencies in Round Rock. Each church provides two board members, volunteers and funds to serve over 200 recipients. Peter Gunn and Ken Kohl serve as our representatives on the board. Serving Center

The Round Rock Area Serving Center is a community and church based ministry that serves residents of Round Rock and Hutto. The Center assists families with the following:

Food and utilities Rent and emergency lodging
Special training classes
Thrift Store items (clothes, shoes, furniture, etc.) at discount prices
Health services to Medicaid, underinsured and uninsured patients

The Center is located at 1099 E. Main in Round Rock. The hours of operation are as follows:

Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM -4:00 PM
Saturday, 9:00 AM - Noon

Our partnership consists of providing a representative to the board, a monthly contribution, donations of goods and recruiting volunteers for special events. Meals on Wheels

has been a vital ministry in our church since 1985 to provide hot, nourishing meals to those in need in our community. We have a church team and also individuals who drive routes each week from a pick-up location in Round Rock. Volunteers can pick their own schedule. Residents are served Monday through Friday and the meals are provided by Meals On Wheels and More based out of Austin.
