On Wednesday night our 1st-5th graders meet for “Wednesday Workshops.” The children meet together for the 1st 15 minutes of class and then disperse by color groups to different workshops, such as Cooking, Music/Drama, Art, and Science/Nature.  Each workshop presents Biblical principles and Bible stories by using various methods of learning.  We use a curriculum called Workshop Zone.  Workshop Zone is a Bible-story driven curriculum that taps in to the way kids love to learn. The fun, discovery-based activities are designed to enrich each lesson and lead kids to synthesize and apply God’s Word to their lives. Moreover, the program focuses on the transformation of kids’ lives as they explore spiritual formation exercises, discover their prayer voices and worship together as a community.
