SERMON SERIES: BELIEVER
With all of our technological advancements and the extraordinary progress we’ve made scientifically, is faith in God a vestigial organ of sorts? A remnant of a former phase of our evolution as a species? Something that made sense a few hundred years ago, but that humanity should outgrow at this point?
Is it crazy to believe in God, Jesus, and the Bible?
Not at all. And this series is about why.
PART 1: MORE THAN A TEACHER
Who was Jesus, really? Did he actually live? And if so, why do Christians believe he was anything more than an effective teacher of moral wisdom? In this message, we’ll examine why it’s not crazy to believe that Jesus did, in fact, rise from the dead.
3/27/16 Speaker: Justin Gerhardt
PART 2: REASON FOR GOD
Millions of Christians believe that God exists. But why? In this message, we’ll examine compelling evidence for the existence of God and explore one very challenging objection raised by atheists and Christians alike.
4/3/16 Speaker: Justin Gerhardt
PART 3: GOOD BOOK
Where did the Bible come from, anyway? How do we know it wasn’t put together by the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages?” And why do Christians believe it’s not only reliable, but inspired by God?
4/10/16 Speaker: Justin Gerhardt
PART 4: SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT
The first 3 parts of this series were worth our time. But we're switching gears for part 4--because perhaps the most compelling evidence for the claims of Christ is the change that happens in the lives of his followers.
