Women's Ministry

at the Round Rock Church exists to provide an environment for our relationships with God and one another to grow and develop.  Our goal is to offer a variety of experiences such as Bible studies, retreats, prayer groups, service opportunities, and special events for the purposes of training, encouragement, laughter, comfort, and care-giving in order to become the women God desires us to be and to enjoy the blessings God has richly provided.

Bible Study for Women 

Wednesdays 9:30 am in Portable B

On January 4, we began our spring Bible study using Beth Moore's new release, James: Mercy Triumphs.  Get to know both the man and the Book of James during the course of this video-driven Bible study. Plus, Beth introduces a new, tiered study approach. So, whether you are a beginner or need to go to the next level in Bible study, it's a perfect fit.  The workbooks will be available in class for $15.  Childcare is provided for the Wednesday morning class.  This class will meet through May 2.

Ladies Dinner Club - 3rd Mondays

Renee Kosarek is ministering to the women of our church by organizing a time (usually 3rd Monday) and place each month for us to gather around the table (often many tables) so that we can get to know one another better.  And what better way to do this than over a meal.  Since this ministry began in October 2011, we have visited at least a dozen different restaurants and we have had groups ranging from a dozen to over 30.  Renee wants to remind all of us, "This is only a club by name - there is no sign-up to be in "the club". Come join us each month for an evening of dinner and fellowship with the ladies of the congregation!"  Each month a reminder email is sent out with the date/time/location.  Please RSVP to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Annual Ornament Exchange

Each December, beginning in 2003, Judy and Carrie Hunter host our Christmas ornament exchange.  We've traded retro ornaments, humorous ornaments, vintage ornaments, and in 2011 our theme was TEXAS ornaments.  We saw lots of longhorn, cowboys, cowgirls, cacti, boots, and stars.  Our theme for 2012 will be "Winter Wonderland."  We will gather in December (date TBD) for our tenth annual ornament exchange.
