Women's Ministry
at the Round Rock Church exists to provide an environment for our relationships with God and one another to grow and develop. Our goal is to offer a variety of experiences such as Bible studies, retreats, prayer groups, service opportunities, and special events for the purposes of training, encouragement, laughter, comfort, and care-giving in order to become the women God desires us to be and to enjoy the blessings God has richly provided.Bible Study for Women

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

When we conclude Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of The Spirit, we will move directly into a study of spiritual gifts. We will be using the workbook, Spiritual Gifts: A Practical Guide to How God Works Through You by David Francis. This study is designed to help new Christians discover their gifts and those long experienced in church to gain marvelous new insights about how the church works best when all members serve out of their giftedness. 1 Peter 4:10:
Special Events for 2010
February 12-13, 2010 - Annual Women's Retreat - Homecoming
Our theme for our 2010 retreat is Homecoming. The retreat will be held February 12-13 at Summers Mill Retreat and Conference Center in Salado, Texas. Summers Mill is a beautiful facility where we have gathered annually for over 10 years. The accomodations have been perfect for us. The cost of this year's retreat is $70 per person with 4 women per room; $90 per person with 2 women per room; and $45 per person for Saturday only. This cost covers one night's lodging, dinner Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, along with plenty of laughter, encouragement, singing, teaching, and entertainment!!
Our speaker will be Amy Bacon from Garland, Texas. We received a glowing recommendation for Amy with these words, "She is beautiful inside and out, hilariously funny, spiritually mature, and an enormously gifted teacher and writer. Amy is the ultimate motivator and I think she’d be a perfect fit for ALL of your precious ladies."
