| We believe that small groups are the best environment in which students are individually known, loved, and cared for within the context of Christian community. Our small group curriculum follows and reinforces the XP3 curriculum that we use on Sunday mornings during Bible class. Our small group leaders don't just 'fill a position', but they embrace their role as student ministers. You may see them cheering our students on at a sporting event, play, band concert, dance recital, etc -OR- you may notice them inviting their groups over for dinner. Whatever the case may be, you can be sure that they are interested in building healthy, mentoring relationships with students and partnering with parents as they guide them toward a faith that is their own. LiFT: Middle School students meet in the Student Center on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:00 p.m. They start out in a large group for an introduction to the topic for the evening; then transition into small groups with committed, caring, Christlike adults, who lead them in further discussion and build healthy relationships with them. the CORE: High School students meet in host homes in the community from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Each CORE group consists of 3-4 adult leaders and 10-15 high school guys & girls. Small group leaders interact with students in a comfortable, relaxed, and safe environment that fosters community and growth. REGISTER FOR the CORE TODAY! |
